Innovative Solutions
These “custom-engineered” structures range from 20’ to more than 400’ wide, with eave heights ranging from 10’ to as much as 100’ and with lengths from as little as 30’ to virtually unlimited length with up to 40’ between ridged frames. Our Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings also offer the industry’s broadest roof and wall panel offerings to meet virtually any desired aesthetic.
As part of our custom engineered building program, we also have access to the patented Long Bay System ® for warehousing or other applications requiring a large, clear span option. This system offers bays spacings of up to 70’ and feature a fully bolted product which does not require any field welding. The Long Bay System ® can be utilized with traditional standing seam roofs or with membrane roofing and can be coordinated with metal wall panels or hardwall / masonry exterior walls.
We offer multiple insulation options to meet ever more demanding energy code requirements. Full cavity, fiberglass insulation systems providing up to R44 roof insulation and up to R30 wall insulation. MBS also has access to factory insulated, foam-filled panel systems for roof and wall offerings delivering even greater energy efficiency as well as a striking exterior appearance.
MBS can provide building packages up to 60’ in width which consist of cold-formed, field bolted components with straight exterior columns and metal trusses. The building packages compete directly with conventional, wood framed, pole-barn type construction but provide a superior option. Components for these projects are fully engineered and certified for your specific location and are cut to length and factory punched. As a result these projects can be easily assembled with minimal equipment requirements. Best of all, as there is no factory welding required, we can offer 4-week delivery from date of contract to delivery of materials!
