Metal Building Solutions (MBS) provided the pre-engineered metal building system for Prysmian’s facility expansion, a large-scale industrial addition designed to increase production capacity and support ongoing operational growth.

The project consisted of a 52,950-square-foot building system engineered to integrate seamlessly with the existing facility. Designed to meet current building code requirements, the structure incorporates high-performance components including a standing seam roof system and insulated metal wall panels, delivering durability, energy efficiency, and long-term performance in an industrial environment.

The building system was specifically designed to accommodate complex tie-ins to existing structures, supporting continuity in layout, workflow, and operational efficiency. Its clear-span design allows for flexible interior space, ideal for manufacturing and production needs.

In addition to the building structure, the design supports key operational features such as loading and access areas, equipment integration, and compatibility with mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems required for industrial use.

Metal Building Solutions worked closely with the construction team to deliver a complete, engineered building package tailored to Prysmian’s specific requirements.
